Newborn photography holds a special place in my heart. It's true what they say—babies grow up so fast. Those tiny fingers, sleepy stretches, soft little yawns, and the way they fit perfectly in your arms change before you know it. A newborn session allows you to freeze this incredibly short season of life, creating timeless images you'll treasure long after your baby has grown.
Choosing a newborn photographer is an important decision. Every photographer has a unique style, so it's important to find someone whose work reflects the look and feel you envision for your baby's first portraits.
There are two primary styles of newborn photography: lifestyle and studio.
Lifestyle sessions are more documentary in nature and typically take place in your home. They focus on natural interactions and the connection between your growing family in the comfort of your own environment.
Studio newborn sessions, on the other hand, are more carefully styled and posed. They often include professional lighting, wraps, blankets, baskets, bowls, and other props to create timeless portraits of your baby.
While I truly appreciate both styles, my passion is studio newborn photography.
Over the years, I've dedicated countless hours to learning the art of safely posing and wrapping newborns, mastering studio lighting, and creating beautiful, custom-designed sets. Every pose is done with your baby's comfort and safety as my highest priority.
One of my favorite parts of each session is designing a setup that's uniquely yours. Before your session, we'll discuss your favorite colors, style preferences, and any meaningful details you'd like to include. Whether it's incorporating your nursery theme, honoring a family tradition, or creating something completely unique, my goal is to create a gallery that feels personal and tells the beginning of your baby's story.
These first few weeks pass by in the blink of an eye. My hope is to preserve them with beautiful, timeless portraits that will become cherished family heirlooms for generations to come.
I believe the best family photographs come from a combination of genuine moments and some perfect poses. My sessions are relaxed, playful, and child-led because when kids feel comfortable and free to be themselves, their personalities shine. My goal is to create a fun, stress-free experience that results in timeless images filled with real connection, joy, and love. Of course, we'll also capture those beautifully posed portraits where everyone is looking at the camera—because I know those are the ones Grandma is going to frame. ;) As you can see, I'm partial to dogs!
Senior year is a season unlike any other. It's filled with excitement, anticipation, and just a little bit of uncertainty. Before long, graduation day will arrive, and life will begin taking you in exciting new directions. My goal is to preserve this moment exactly as it is—capturing not only what you look like, but who you are.
Your senior session should be about more than yearbook photos. It should celebrate your personality, your accomplishments, your passions, and everything that has made you the person you've become.
Whether you're an athlete, musician, artist, dancer, outdoors enthusiast, or simply someone who wants beautiful portraits to remember this chapter of life, your session will be designed with you in mind.
Before your session, we'll talk about your interests, favorite locations, hobbies, future plans, and the overall style you're hoping to achieve. Together, we'll create a session that feels authentic to you.
Things you might want to consider before your session:
Your college sweatshirt or future career plans?
Your sports uniform or letter jacket?
Your instrument, artwork, or favorite hobby?
Your car or truck?
Your best friends?
Your cap and gown?
These are the details that make your senior gallery uniquely yours.
I'll guide you every step of the way while also giving you room to relax, have fun, and let your personality shine. We'll capture a mix of natural, candid moments along with classic portraits.
Years from now, these photographs will remind you not only of what you looked like, but of who you were during one of the most exciting chapters of your life. They're more than pictures—they're a celebration of everything you've accomplished and everything that's still ahead.
